John is responsible for the design and creation of every new Triton Submersible and is the lead designer for the Limiting Factor.

He has been a lead engineer on 17 new-build submersibles, including both military and commercial projects and vehicles built to ABS, Lloyds and DNV-GL classification. His designs have facilitated some of the world’s most incredible achievements – the discovery of new species, the filming of landmark TV shows and the sheer wonder enjoyed by the hundreds of people who have experienced the underwater world from the safety of his submersibles.

John graduated with a degree in Design Engineering from Glasgow University and today lives in rural England with his wife, Caroline.
